EVERYTHING IS MECHANICAL
  • Everything going in your body has a mechanical aspect: Your body functions out of 5 planes:
    Neurology: electrical messaging and computing. 
    Physiology: necessary exchanges/fluid flow, adsorption, waists management. 
    Hormonal/BioChemistry: acid/alcalin, inner-chemistry, hormones, etc.
    Emotions and Mental condition: mental/emotional state influence chemistry constant transformation.
    MECHANICAL PLANE: Which will talk about here on this site...

    EXAMPLES of what is mechanical:
  • ​Your breathing : the respiratory system is made of empty containers. Without the effort of some muscles, no air would come in or out. Thus, without its mechanical aspect, no breathing, No oxygenation.
  • ​Your voice : is created when air is pushed out of your lungs, passes through your larynx and vocal cords where it creates vibrations. Mechanical.
  • Your ears  : if nothing within your ears vibrates (mechanical), You can't hear anything. 
  • Your digestion : your stomac and intestines have their own particular movements (mechanical), named peristalsis, it is made by muscles within their envelops.
    Guess what happens if that mechanical aspect is disturbed? Don't you think the symptoms of  pathologies such as Coeliac disease, Crohn's disease, Stomac Burn, Stomach Ulcers, etc. (all of those ... causes unknown), could appear?
  • ​Blood Flow  : Blood flow, blood pressure... aren't those things mechanical matters? What would happen if we restrict the blood to flow; cause of tensed muscles, or lack of physical activity, for instance?
  • ​Your sight : Your pupils, right now; they are adjusting to the light of the device on which you read this vs the lighting of the room we you are  at this very moment. Your eyes, when you look to the right, to the left, up or down,... What do you think create those movements (mechanical)? Muscles. Don't you think these muscles respond to the same principles as any muscles of our body? "The parts we don't use, we lose!" Meaning: atrophies and tensions deforming the eyes?  What about our eye lids?
  • Muscles and bones : 70-80% of a human body weight, average. Pretty mechanical to me. 40-55% muscles alone. Don't you wonder what kind of damage could they create to other tissues, organs, joints, when tensed, atrophied, or too weak?
  • You want more?  We could go on and on like this covering all of the functions of your body, Of any of the systems...  And yet, no other Mechanic in the Health Care System than the surgeon, at the end of the lined up specialists in our Health Care System. Does that make sense to you?

Telling us that muscles have needs; to stop the pain is to  respond to the needs of the muscles. To take care of the muscular system; 
A) If a muscle is tensed; pressure point it.
B) If atrophied; stretch it to gain length.
C) If inflamed; Ice it, drain it, make it exercise moderately' strengthen  it and
at the end, remind the muscles to relax when not needed to be active.
NOTE: muscles need as much REST as they need ACTION.

Jean-Pierre, I came to you with so much pain in the hip the first time. Never in my sporting years had I felt so much pain. One session with you... And the next day, I could walk again normally. Dear Jean-Pierre, thank you again for your help of last week. Hard to believe, but aI must be honest with you. After I called you on the phone on Friday end of afternoon;, I was quite sceptical when you told me you would send me 3 videos so I can start to do self-relief on my own before I saw you.
Anyway, I was so much in pain that I decided to give it a try.  I did as you had suggested me.  So I applied the 3 stretchings for my legs and hips 2 times each.
Guess what ? (I tell you: hard to believe): pain was gone on the second day, like 24 hours after calling you. Yes, my sciatica pain disappeared very quickly.
